Support

In the app, open Messages → Pull Up Support to ask the assistant or talk to a person. Or email support@pullup.group and a real person will get back to you, usually within a day.

What Pull Up is

Pull Up is a 13+ app for finding and hosting parties nearby, and for making friends to go with. Under-18s and adults use separate sides of the app. The one exception is “All ages” parties: anyone 13+ can get a pass, so under-18s and adults can be at the same party, but they still stay on their own side of the app. Parties are hosted by the people who post them, not by Pull Up.

What things cost

Free parties are free: you get your pass in the app at no cost.

Paid parties: the host sets the cover. At checkout you pay the cover plus a service fee, which is Pull Up’s 5% plus card processing (2.9% + 30¢). You always see the full total before you pay. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay are handled by Stripe; Pull Up never sees your card number.

Passes are personal. A pass is for the person it was bought for: it can’t be sold, given away or transferred, and the door may check it’s you. To buy for friends, tap “Pay for a friend too” at checkout, and each friend gets their own pass.

Refunds

If you can’t go, open the party and tap Leave this party. Leaving 2 or more hours before doors gets you a full refund. Closer to the start it isn’t refunded, and the host isn’t paid for that pass either, unless the party is then cancelled, or something went wrong (say nobody was there) and you tell us on the party page within 48 hours after it ends.

Pull Up credit: add money in the app (Profile → ☰ → Pull Up credit → Add money) with Apple Pay or a card, $5 or more, with a small card fee on top (3% + 31¢), shown before you pay. Under-18s can add up to $50 a day. Paying for a pass with credit has no card fee. Credit you add can be spent on passes but can’t be cashed out or sent back to your card; credit you earn hosting can be cashed out.

Refunds go back the way you paid: to your card or Apple Pay, or as Pull Up credit if you paid with credit. If a friend paid for your pass, the refund goes to them. You’re also refunded automatically if your payment goes through after the party filled up or was cancelled, if you were charged twice, or if the host removes you from their party.

If the host cancels, everyone who paid is refunded in full, automatically.

Your cover is held, not paid straight to the host. The host is paid when your pass is scanned at the door. If it isn’t scanned, the host is paid 48 hours after the party ends, unless you report a problem first.

If you showed up and weren’t let in, open your pass in the app and tap “I showed up and wasn’t let in” within 48 hours after the party ends. We’ll look into it and refund you if the host didn’t hold up their end.

For hosts

Adults: set up payouts with Stripe before you post a paid party. Under-18 hosts: what you earn goes to your Pull Up credit or, once a parent or guardian approves and sets up payouts, to their payout account. Under-18 hosts’ parties and all-ages parties can charge up to $50 a pass. To host an all-ages party, an under-18 needs a parent or guardian to sign the all-ages host form first (email support@pullup.group), and those parties have no alcohol at all.

You’re paid for each pass when it’s scanned at the door, or 48 hours after your party if it isn’t (unless the guest disputes). If a guest leaves less than 2 hours before doors, they aren’t refunded and you aren’t paid for that pass. If you cancel, every guest is refunded and nothing is paid out.

Door staff have to be on your side of the age line. Under 18 and want a parent or guardian to help at the door? Ask Pull Up Support and we’ll add them.

Delete your account

In the app: Profile → ☰ (top right, opens Settings) → Delete account. Your profile, photos, posts and messages are removed. Upcoming parties you’re hosting are cancelled and every guest is refunded. Your own passes follow the usual rule: refunded if the party is 2 or more hours away. Any Pull Up credit and unpaid creator earnings are lost, so spend or cash them out first. If you’re hosting a party that has started or has guests checked in, you can delete your account 48 hours after it ends.

Open safety reports about you stay open after you delete, and we keep a coded copy of your phone number, email and sign-in IDs with your birthday for 1 year (3 if the account was reported or banned), so deleting can’t be used to get around reports, bans or the age rules. See the Privacy Policy for what else is kept. You can also email support@pullup.group from the address on your account and we’ll delete it for you. Parents and guardians can email us to delete their teen’s account; we’ll verify it’s you first.

Safety

Report a person, party, story, clip or review from its ⋯ menu, or block someone from their profile. Reports are reviewed by a person. If someone is under 13, report them with “They’re under 13”: Pull Up is only for 13 and up. If you think an adult is pretending to be under 18, report them with “An adult pretending to be under 18”. If anyone is in danger, call 911 first.

Remove an intimate image: if an intimate image or video of you was shared on Pull Up without your consent, ask us to remove it. No account needed, and we remove it within 48 hours.

Read the Community Guidelines, Terms and Privacy Policy.
