Terms of Service
Effective October 22, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Pull Up Group, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Pull Up", "we", "us") for using the Pull Up app and pullup.group. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, you may not use Pull Up.
1. Who can use Pull Up
- You must be 13 or older. When you sign up you tell us your real date of birth, and it can't be changed later. Giving a false birthday breaks these terms.
- Under-18s and adults use separate sides of Pull Up. Parties, party clips and the people we suggest to you are from your own age group (all-ages parties are the exception, below). In search, under-18s can also find adults by name, shown without a photo; an adult can find an under-18 only by typing their exact username, and can only send a follow request the under-18 has to accept. People in different age groups connect only if both follow each other; once they do, they can see each other's stories and message each other.
- All-ages parties are the one exception: anyone 13 or older can see them and get a pass, so under-18s and adults may be at the same party. People still stay on their own side: the party's group chat is only for the host's age group, the host and door staff see guests from the other age group by @username only, and they can't follow those guests or be followed by them.
- If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should know you use Pull Up. Under-18s can host parties for other under-18s, or all-ages parties (see section 6). To host an all-ages party, an under-18 needs a parent or guardian to sign Pull Up's all-ages host form first, and those parties have no alcohol at all. Getting paid out in money, as a host or a creator, needs a parent or guardian's approval and their payout account.
- If we believe an account is under 13, or that someone lied about their age, we suspend it immediately and may delete it.
- One account per person. Your profile has to be you: your real first name, your own photos, your real age.
- You can't use Pull Up if we've banned you before, or if you're barred from doing so by law.
2. Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or phone, a password, or Sign in with Apple or Google. Keep those secure; anyone who can get into them can sign in as you. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at support@pullup.group if you think someone else is using it.
3. Pull Up is a platform, not the host
Parties on Pull Up are organized by independent hosts, not by Pull Up. We check each host's ID and social accounts before they can host (section 6), but that isn't a background check or an endorsement. We don't run, supervise, staff, inspect, or insure events, and we don't verify what a host says about their event. The host alone is responsible for their event, including:
- the safety of the venue and the people there, and whether the event matches its listing;
- following the law: permits, noise, occupancy and fire limits, and property rules;
- alcohol: never serving or providing it to anyone under 21, and following all alcohol laws;
- who they let in and how they run the door.
Going to any event, or meeting anyone you found on Pull Up, is your choice and at your own risk. Use your judgment, meet in public first when you're meeting someone new, tell a friend where you're going, and call 911 in an emergency.
4. Meeting people
Pull Up helps people make friends and hang out, and has no dating. We don't run criminal background checks, and apart from checking hosts' IDs, we don't verify identities, so we can't guarantee anyone is who they say they are. Report anyone who makes you uncomfortable; reporting also blocks them.
5. Tickets and payments
- Price. A paid ticket costs the host's cover plus a service fee: Pull Up's 5%, plus card processing when you pay by card or Apple Pay (none when you pay with Pull Up credit). The total is shown before you pay. All prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; Pull Up never sees your full card number.
- Under-18 limit. If you're under 18, one checkout can include at most $50 of cover. Passes to an under-18 host's party, and to any all-ages party, cost at most $50 of cover each.
- How your money is held. We hold the cover and pay it to the host when your ticket is scanned at the door. If it isn't scanned, the host is paid automatically 48 hours after the party ends, unless you report before then that you showed up and weren't let in.
- Refunds. You get a full refund (cover and service fee) if you leave the party in the app 2 or more hours before it starts, if the host cancels, if your payment goes through after the party filled up or was cancelled, if you were charged more than once for the same ticket, if you turn 18 before an under-18 party you have a pass to, if the host removes you from their party (by blocking or reporting you), or if we decide a no-entry report in your favor. If you leave less than 2 hours before it starts, you aren't refunded, and the host isn't paid for that pass: Pull Up keeps it, unless the party is then cancelled, or you tell us within 48 hours after it ends that something went wrong and we decide to refund you. Otherwise tickets are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Where refunds go. Back the way you paid: to your card or Apple Pay, or as Pull Up credit if you paid with credit. If a friend paid for your pass, the refund goes to them.
- No-entry reports. File one from your pass before the deadline shown on it. The host's payout for your ticket is frozen while we review. Our decision is final as between you and the host, but it doesn't limit any rights you have against your bank or under the law.
- Chargebacks. If you dispute a payment with your bank, the ticket is voided and can't be used to get in. If the payment covered friends' passes too, theirs are voided as well. If a card payment that added Pull Up credit is charged back, passes bought with that credit can be cancelled, and the host's payout for them taken back.
- Passes are personal. Each pass is for the person it was bought for and gets them in once. Passes can't be sold, given away, or transferred to anyone else; to buy for friends, use group pay at checkout, which gives each friend their own pass. The door may check that the person showing a pass is the person it belongs to.
6. Hosting and getting paid
- Hosts are approved first. To host, you apply in the app with details about you and your events, a photo of your ID showing your date of birth, and a selfie. The Pull Up team reviews applications in batches and may approve you, put you on a waitlist for a later batch, or decline, at our discretion. If you're declined, you can apply again after 30 days. We may take away hosting at any time if you break these terms or put guests at risk.
- Under-18 hosts can host parties for other under-18s, or all-ages parties, always with no alcohol at all. Before an under-18 hosts an all-ages party, a parent or guardian has to sign Pull Up's all-ages host form (email support@pullup.group to get it). Their parties have to start before their 18th birthday, and can charge at most $50 a pass. Cover they charge is earned as Pull Up credit, which can be used on Pull Up; being paid out in money needs a parent or guardian's approval and their payout account.
- All-ages parties. Any approved host can make an all-ages party after reading and accepting the all-ages host agreement in the app, which then also applies to that party. Among other things, you agree to keep alcohol away from anyone under 21, check IDs, and have enough responsible adults there. All-ages parties are always 13+, charge at most $50 a pass, and have no party clips. Announcements to an all-ages party's guests can't include phone numbers, @handles or links.
- Door staff must be on the host's side of the age line: an under-18 host's door staff are under 18, and an adult host's are adults. An under-18 host who wants a parent or guardian to help at the door can ask support, and we'll add them.
- Adult hosts: to charge a cover, you set up payouts through Stripe, and you agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Stripe verifies your identity and sends your payouts. If your Pull Up account has no email address, Stripe's emails about your payout account (including tax-form notices) go to support@pullup.group; add an email to your account to get them yourself.
- You receive the full cover you set for each ticket, paid as described in section 5. The service fee is Pull Up's. If you choose an instant cash-out to a debit card, Stripe's instant fee may apply.
- Guests who leave late. If a guest leaves your party in the app less than 2 hours before it starts, you aren't paid for that pass (the guest isn't refunded either; see section 5).
- If you cancel, every guest is refunded in full and you're paid nothing for that party.
- We may hold, reverse, or take back a payout when a guest's no-entry report is upheld, when a payment is charged back, or when we reasonably suspect fraud or a breach of these terms.
- You're responsible for your own taxes. Stripe may issue tax forms (such as a 1099-K) where the law requires.
- Your listing must be truthful: the real time, place, price, and what guests should expect. Hosts with repeated upheld no-entry reports may lose the ability to host.
7. The creator program and Pull Up credit
- Creator program. Anyone with an account can share their invite link. When someone signs up with your link, they're linked to you once, permanently. Whenever they buy a paid ticket and its money is released to the host, you earn a share of Pull Up's part of the service fee on that ticket (not the card-processing part). The current share is shown in the app under You → Invite & earn.
- Earnings are paid through Stripe (the same setup as hosts) once you've earned at least $10. If a ticket you earned on is later refunded or charged back, that earning is cancelled or taken out of your next payout.
- Under-18s need a parent or guardian's approval to join the creator program, and are paid only while that approval stands, to the parent or guardian's payout account.
- No gaming it. Inviting yourself, making fake or duplicate accounts, paying or tricking people to sign up, or spamming your link isn't allowed. We can void earnings that come from it and remove you from the program.
- We may change the share, or change or end the program, for tickets bought after we tell you about the change. Earnings you've already made aren't taken away, except as described above.
- Pull Up credit is a balance in your account (for example, what an under-18 host earns, or money you add). It can be used on Pull Up. Credit you earn can be paid out in money once a payout account is set up (for under-18s: a parent or guardian's, while their approval stands). Credit isn't a bank account, doesn't earn interest, doesn't expire, and can't be transferred to someone else. If your account is banned for fraud, we may cancel credit that came from it. Credit and unpaid creator earnings are lost when you delete your account, so spend or cash them out first.
- Adding credit. You can add credit with Apple Pay or a card (at least $5). A card fee is added on top (currently 3% + 31¢, what card processing costs), shown before you pay, and isn't refundable. Credit you add can be spent on passes but can't be cashed out or refunded to your card, except where the law requires it. A pass you bought with it that's refunded goes back to your credit. To limit fraud, there's a daily limit on how much you can add (lower for new accounts), and under-18s can add up to $50 a day. If a payment you used to add credit is refunded or charged back, that credit is taken back, and if it was already spent, you owe us that amount (and passes bought with it can be cancelled, as in section 5). Paying for a pass with credit has no card fee.
8. Your content
You own the photos, videos, posts, stories, clips, messages, and other content you add. You give Pull Up a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and resize it for the purpose of running and improving Pull Up. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for safety, legal, or backup reasons. Only post content you have the right to post, and never post someone else's photo or private information without their permission.
9. Copyright complaints
We respect copyright and respond to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe something on Pull Up infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@pullup.group with the subject "Copyright notice", including: (1) your signature (typing your full name is fine); (2) the work you believe was copied; (3) where it is on Pull Up (a link, or the @username and what it is); (4) your name, address, phone number, and email; (5) a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law; and (6) a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
Our designated agent for copyright notices, registered with the U.S. Copyright Office (DMCA-1082872), is: Copyright Agent, Pull Up Group, Inc., 3268 Governor Drive #325, San Diego, CA 92122. Phone: 858-585-6379. Email: support@pullup.group. You can also mail a notice to that address.
We'll remove or disable the content and let the person who posted it know. If you posted it and think it was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with your signature, what was removed and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address, and phone number, your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or San Diego County, California, if you're outside the U.S.), and your consent to accept service of process from the person who sent the notice (or their agent). We may restore it 10 to 14 business days later unless the complainant tells us they've filed a lawsuit. We ban accounts that repeatedly infringe others' copyrights.
10. Removing intimate images
If an intimate image or video of you (including a fake or AI-made one) was shared on Pull Up without your consent, anyone can ask us to remove it, with or without a Pull Up account: use the form at pullup.group/removal/, or email support@pullup.group with the subject "Removal request". Tell us where it is on Pull Up, and sign the request (typing your full name is fine); you can also ask for someone you're authorized to act for, like your child. We remove it within 48 hours of a valid request, along with copies of it we know of, and the account that shared it can be banned.
11. Rules
Follow the Community Guidelines. In short: no harassment, hate, threats, nudity or sexual content (and never anything sexual involving anyone under 18), sharing intimate images of anyone without their consent, scams, selling drugs or anything illegal, impersonation, or spam. Don't try to break, overload, scrape, or get around the security of Pull Up.
12. Reports, suspension, and bans
We review reports and may remove content, suspend accounts, or ban people who break these terms or put others at risk, with or without notice. While we review, we may also pause an account, take away someone's ability to host, and hold their payouts. Banning a host cancels their upcoming parties and refunds every guest. If you think we made a mistake, email support@pullup.group.
13. Deleting your account
You can delete your account anytime in Settings → Delete account, with one exception: while you're hosting a party that has started or has guests checked in, you can delete your account starting 48 hours after it ends. When you delete it:
- your profile, photos, posts and messages are removed, and your chats end;
- upcoming parties you're hosting are cancelled, and every guest is refunded in full;
- your own passes follow the normal leave rules in section 5: refunded if the party is 2 or more hours away, otherwise not;
- any Pull Up credit and unpaid creator earnings are lost, so spend or cash them out first;
- open safety reports about you stay open, and messages that are part of a safety report are kept until a year after it's reviewed;
- we keep a coded copy of your phone number, email and sign-in IDs (made with a secret key only our server has, and used only to check whether a new sign-up matches), with your birthday, for 1 year (3 years if your account was reported or banned), so deleting an account can't be used to get around reports, bans or the age rules.
Other records are kept as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. The support assistant
Pull Up Support in the app starts with an AI assistant. It can make mistakes: only these terms and decisions by the Pull Up team count, not what the assistant says. You can always ask for a person.
15. Disclaimers
Pull Up is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't promise the app will always be available or error-free, that any event will happen as described, or that any person is who they say they are.
16. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Pull Up isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for anything that happens at an event or between users. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid Pull Up in the 12 months before the claim, or $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
17. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against Pull Up because of your event, your content, or your breach of these terms or the law, you agree to cover Pull Up's reasonable losses and costs from that claim.
18. Disputes and governing law
California law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, email support@pullup.group so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Either of us may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Otherwise, claims must be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you and we consent to those courts.
19. If you got Pull Up from Apple's App Store
These terms are between you and Pull Up, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, and has no duty to provide maintenance or support for it. If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you can tell Apple and Apple will refund the app's purchase price (if any); otherwise Apple has no warranty obligation. Apple isn't responsible for any claims about the app, including product liability, failing to meet legal requirements, consumer protection claims, or claims that the app infringes someone's intellectual property; Pull Up is responsible for those as described in these terms. You confirm you're not in a country under a U.S. government embargo and aren't on a U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also follow the App Store's terms when using the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them against you.
20. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and you'll be asked to accept the new version. Continuing to use Pull Up after a change means you accept it.
21. General
- Entire agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines, and any host agreement you accept in the app (like the all-ages host agreement) are the whole agreement between you and Pull Up about using Pull Up.
- Severability. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies, and that part is enforced as far as the law allows.
- What survives. If you delete your account or we ban it, the parts of these terms that should naturally continue still apply, including what you owe (payments, chargebacks, and credit you spent), indemnity, the limits on our liability, and how disputes are resolved.
- No waiver. If we don't enforce part of these terms right away, we can still enforce it later.
- Assignment. We may transfer these terms to another company as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of Pull Up. You can't transfer your account or these terms to anyone else.
